Dulture weekly mix
After the snippet of warm weather we had this week, the only problem I have with this week’s mix is that it’s a reminder we’re still technically in winter.
Otherwise, throw this mix on while you get your Friday stuff out of the way - 5 min mark onwards is a special one.
Better results don't always require more supplements.
Most supplement routines are built on guesswork.
SuppCo fixes that. They help you audit product quality, optimize your budget, and track the exact nutrient density of your stack. You take the right dosages from trusted sources. Nothing more, nothing less.
Plus, their core features are free. Not a trial. Just free.
Download the SuppCo app to see what you're actually taking. Then start building a routine that makes sense for your body and your budget.
Your workouts aren't random. Your supplements shouldn't be either.
May this be the last time you read about 83 points for a really long time…or at least until Monday.
For those of you who live under a rock, someone just scored 83 points in a basketball game on Tuesday.
Everyone and their mama (not mine, she only watches baseball) has been talking about Bam Adebayo this week.
Dude got his own Google graphic thing when you search him up.

I swear once Dwayne Wade retired, Bam was not that far off either but 28??

Secondly, after seeing the stat lines I was going to write a whole state of the NBA piece here. It wasn’t actually going to be the opener this week but I was like, y’know what, let’s just let the man have his 83 in peace.
Also let’s also compare him to Kobe’s 81 and Wilt’s 100 LOL

Brought to you by Perplexity Pro (got it for free, might as well use it)
I wanna first point you to Bam’s 43 - yes FORTY THREE - free throws (say that 5 times fast).
I watched some of the highlights and dude def got hacked but 43 free throws worth? I dunno what the heck was going on in that game but that’s usually a combined number for both teams at best.
Now looking at Kobe’s 81, the one thing to note is that the vast majority of his points were off of jump shooting, effectively putting on a free shooting clinic for the Raptors…whereas Bam lived in the key.

Meanwhile, Wilt’s 100 is pretty crazy given they didn’t have a 3-pt line back then. But take a look at how big Wilt Chamberlain was compared to Kareem Abdul-Jabar, who was already 7’2!!
Just pass the ball to Will Wilt.

You better be scoring 100 being this big
Sports media obviously had a field day with unsuspecting Bam. But I only really care what Stephen A. has to “say”…LOL

Even if this isn’t true, it’s still kinda true
AND there’s a shoe story here (of course).
Bam dropped buckets in the unreleased Jordan 4028’s - the upper being from the Jordan 28’s and the sole and lower being from the Jordan 40’s. I know you can probably tell me what a Jordan 4 looks like but the combination of the 40’s and 28’s, yeah…I can’t either.

Music Streaming Facing The Music
If you ever want to confuse TF outta yourself, try to read up on the economics of music streaming with Spotify.
You basically need to know the Pythagorean theorem to know how someone makes money on Spotify.

For years it’s been this cloak and dagger situation where unless you’re deep in the mix on these platforms, lord knows what’s really going on.
I think the last couple of years we’ve started to realize not everything is what it seems, with high profile artists calling out other high profile artists for having their record label purchasing streams to effectively accelerate promotion on these platforms.
It’s an ATM machine. You put your money in, you get our music.
Last month Jimmy Iovine was on the Founders Podcast breaking down why he thinks streaming services are “minutes away from being obsolete”.
His main point being the fact that streaming services don’t create any form of real connection between the artist and the fan, where a lot of the time, that’s all the artist really wants - connection.

In an era dominated by the Taylor’s, Drake’s, and Bad Bunny’s of the world, Iovine goes on to say that basically if you aren’t at the top of the pecking order on streaming platforms, you really aren’t getting paid.
I’m sure Spotify would like to jump in on that point given they just released their 2025 Loud & Clear report breaking down how much everyone got paid.
Iovine brings up a few issues with actors like Spotify but I think the one that resonated the most, that builds on the disconnection between the artist and the fan, is the fact that there’s so much music and it’s all available across multiple platforms.
Where at least with TV/Film, if you want to watch Stranger Things you need to subscribe to Netflix.
If I want to listen to Port of Miami (first album that came to mind lol) I can get it basically anywhere.

Music has become a commodity and the streaming services are basically a utility. The same way you can swap out a sink in your bathroom, you can swap platforms and it really doesn’t matter either way.
Coupled with the fact that we’re starting to hear more than just whispers of owning CD/DVD’s (thank you Gen Z for loving the 90’s), Iovine might be onto something.
Are platforms minutes away from being obsolete? I doubt it - but I wouldn’t be surprised if the economics behind a Spotify, who heavily relies on users, gets thrown for a loop this year.
Zuck Buys AI Facebook
Y’all heard of Moltbook or nah?
Lemme get a lil techy on you for a second.
So if you saw the influx of social posts last month on people talking about and/or buying MacMini’s it’s because they wanted to use this thing called OpenClaw.
What OpenClaw does is effectively take over your computer, with your “permission”, and do a bunch of stuff. IE if I had it on my laptop I could tell it to write this newsletter how I normally do and poof, you’d get an AI generated newsletter, hopefully in my own voice and blah blah blah…
How do you know AI isn’t writing this RIGHT NOW??
Spoiler Alert: It’s not - I’m sitting at my kitchen table, just finished a Red Bull, trying to get this done before midnight so I don’t look like a racoon in the morning.
Anyway - the MacMini thing - people run OpenClaw on a separate computer so it doesn’t f*ck with your personal stuff. OpenClaw taking over your laptop technically isn’t a safe thing given it’s an AI agent that could potentially just start doing sh*t you don’t want it to do - Skynet anyone??
Like what happened to Meta’s head of AI safety:

Dawg…all caps STOP OPENCLAW sounds like a horror movie lol
Moltbook was built for AI agents using OpenClaw to effectively talk to each other like they were on Reddit.
Scrolling through the site, it honestly sounds like a bunch of nerds talking to each other about whatever.
And Meta just bought this for an undisclosed amount of money.

It’s like the nerd table in the cafeteria
SO now Meta owns Facebook and AI Agent Facebook.
Get ready to have your own agent taking selfies in the bathroom for you.
Taco Bell Annual Keynote
In a timeline where fast food CEO’s are eating their own food - sort of…

WHERE IS THE BITE
Taco Bell just did their 3rd annual Live Más Live keynote event, announcing new menu items and all kinds of other Taco Bell-esk things.
Taco Bell be launching new menu items like it’s a new MacBook pro - I rate it.

This year’s event saw announcements around 20+ different menu items. You can see them at your local Taco Bell (unless you’re in Canada, in which case we get the same old 2009 menu we’ve always had).
Some notable announcements included:
Crème Brulee Crunchwrap Slider

THIS IS DESSERT
Fire Queso Sauce Packet

…AND THEN I ATE THE PACKET
Mountain Dew Baja Blast Under Eye Patches

Bring Taco Bell into your skincare routine
Celebrities are going to this thing now. They’re playing games on stage. Taco Bell’s CMO calls Live Más Live an unhinged night in Hollywood (no Diddy).
NGL - I kinda want to go the next one
